Edinburgh Military Tattoo - Sydney The Edinburgh Military Tattoo will return to Sydney in February 2010 in what will be only its third staging outside Scotland in its 60-year history. The production will be the event's largest and comes after a successful visit to Sydney for shows in 2005. The tattoo will again be staged at the Sydney Football Stadium using a million dollar replica of Edinburgh Castle and some 1,500 performers. The new show will be titled The Edinburgh Military Tattoo – Celebrating 60 years of Valour, Mateship, Glory. You of course cannot have an Edinburgh Military Tattoo without Edinburgh Castle. The remarkable $1 million replica of the castle facade, will once again feature as a stunning, atmospheric backdrop to the event. The international groups participating will be announced progressively during the year. It can be revealed that the wildly popular Top Secret Drum Corps from Basel in Switzerland, who thrilled Sydney audiences in 2005, will be back.
